Drexel Wrestling Announces Home-and-Home Series with Oklahoma State

PHILADELPHIA — Drexel and Oklahoma State will meet on the mat as part of a home-and-home series for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons. The Dragons will travel to Stillwater, Okla., to face the Cowboys on Nov. 8 before welcoming OSU to the DAC for the 2027-28 campaign.
The Dragons and Cowboys have met three times in their extensive history, with Drexel's last match up against Oklahoma State coming during the 2021-22 season. The upcoming meeting will mark the second time the Cowboys will visit University City and the since 2019.
Oklahoma State posted a 15-1 record last season and finished runner-up to Penn State at the 2026 NCAA Championships, with three individual champions. Sergio Vega, Landon Robideau and Jax Forrest became the first trio in NCAA history to win three individual national titles in the same year at the national tournament.
Drexel is no stranger to battling top-25 opponents under the guidance of Mert '67 and Joanne '69 Hill Head Coach Matt Azevedo. Last season, the Dragons faced four Big Ten opponents, including a victory over No. 25 Purdue inside the DAC. Drexel also hosted No. 1 Penn State in front of the first sellout crowd in program history. Additionally, the program has earned wins over the likes of Michigan State, Maryland, Northwestern, Oregon State and Iowa State.
