2010-11: Made 27 appearances, starting 23 games…earned the team’s Defensive Player Award…led the team with a .477 shooting percentage and 51 offensive rebounds…ranked second in steals (37) and rebounding (5.6 rpg)…scored a career-high 18 points in the victory over Tulsa on Dec. 2…put together a double-double with 11 points and a career-best 15 boards against Hofstra on Jan. 23.
2009-10: Earned Honorable Mention Academic All-Conference recognition…played in all 31 games and made 28 starts on the season…led the team in blocks and ranked third in steals and rebounding (125) and second in offensive boards (52)…earned the team’s Spirit/Leadership Award…scored a career high 12 points on 6-for-10 shooting at James Madison on Feb. 7, 2010.
2008-09: Played in 26 games and made two starts as a freshman…got her first career start on Dec. 19, 2008 at Penn…ranked third on the team in rebounding…set season highs with 10 rebounds and four steals against Old Dominion on the semifinals of the CAA Tournament…played season-high 26 minutes in CAA Championship game against James Madison.
Background: A two-sport standout at Towson Catholic…named Maryland AAU Defensive Player of the year in 2008…earned All-Conference and All-Metro honors while helping her team advance to the conference semifinals in 2007-08…ranked second in the IAAM Conference in scoring as a senior, also led her team in scoring, rebounds, assists and steals…a four-time all-conference and academic all-conference performer in volleyball.
Personal: Daughter of Raymond and Casandra Hale…majoring in health sciences.
