Drexel University Football Heritage Campaign

The Drexel University Athletics Department hosted a football reunion prior to the men's lacrosse game against Delaware on Saturday, April 2nd where a monument was dedicated to the memory and history of the Drexel football program.

More than 80 Drexel football alumni returned to campus for the event. The monument was unveiled by Drexel Director of Athletics Dr. Eric Zillmer and the Football Committee. The former players were recognized at halftime of the game.

In addition to funding the monument, the Drexel football alumni have organized a fund-raising campaign to assist in the enhancement of the Drexel Varsity Weight Room. The varsity weight room is located in the John A. Daskalakis Athletic Center and is used by all of Drexel's Division I Athletes.
