Colin Ambler, a co-captain of the men's lacrosse team in both 2009 and 2010, was a leader of a team that was ranked as high as seventh in the nation that season. It was the highest ranking of any Drexel team in more than 50 years. He was honored by the CAA in each of his four seasons at Drexel. Ambler was the 2007 Rookie of the Year and was an All-Conference selection in each of the last three seasons. He finished his career with 66 career assists, the eighth-highest total in Drexel history. Ambler is also 11th all-time in both goals and points at Drexel. In the classroom, the Abington, Pa. native was named to the Dean’s List seven times, was named a CAA Commissioner’s Award winner three times and was nominated for the CAA Men’s Lacrosse Scholar Athlete of the Year, an award he won as a freshman. He was also named a CoSIDA Second Team Acadmic All-District selection. Ambler graduated with a degree from Drexel in business administration.
