Kline & Specter Squash Center

The Kline & Specter Squash Center is located in the John A. Daskalakis Athletic Center. The courts were made possible by the generosity of Tom Kline and Shanin Specter, partners in Kline & Specter, P.C. law firm in Philadelphia. The facility features seven courts — five competitive and two recreational — as well as a team room and comfortable seating areas for spectators.
In addition to housing the Drexel men’s and women’s squash programs, the Kline & Specter Squash Center promises to become one of the better known venues in the international squash world over the next few years. The U.S. Open Squash Championships will have a home in Philadelphia for the next 10 years as U.S. Squash signed a deal with Drexel University to continue hosting the tournament through 2023. Although championship play will take place in the main arena at the Daskalakis Athletic Center, the Kline & Specter Squash Center will be used for practice and qualifying matches, thus seeing the top players from around the world spending time in its courts.
