Laura McHugh joined the Drexel staff in August 2014 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. She moved into a permanent role in the spring of 2016 and currently works with the women's soccer and both the men's and women's rowing teams. Before coming to Drexel she worked for the Einstein Healthcare Network at Cedarbrook Middle School in Cheltenham, Pa.

McHugh graduated from East Carolina in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. She graduated from Drexel with a master's degree in sport management in June of 2016.
