Mike Mannix is the newest member of Coach Flint’s staff. He came to Drexel prior to last season after serving as an assistant coach for two seasons at Western New Mexico University in Silver City, N.M. His responsibilities as the coordinator of basketball operations include coordinating team travel, organizing team purchases, assist with on-campus recruiting and monitoring the basketball program. He also served as the Director of the Drexel University All-Star Camp.
Mannix has also worked as a video assistant intern for the NBA’s Indiana Pacers. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2003 with a degree in sport management. While at UMass, Mannix, a native of Holyoke, Mass., worked with the men’s basketball program for three seasons with Coach Flint.
