Zack Duffy joined the Drexel men’s basketball staff during the summer of 2021. He was promoted to the director of basketball operations prior to the 2022-23 season. Previously, Duffy worked as an associate director of camps and player development for the IMPACT Basketball Academy in Las Vegas, Nev. before coming to Drexel.
Before his time at the IMPACT Basketball Academy, Duffy earned his master’s degree in intercollegiate athletic administration from California University of Pennsylvania. While completing his degree, Duffy was a graduate assistant coach for the University’s men’s basketball team until the 2020-21 season.
In the summer of 2020, Duffy started work with BeTheBeast Recruiting and Sideline Cancer TBT as a video editor and video coordinator. He was involved in film breakdown and creating scouting reports for player personal.
Duffy, a 2019 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University, was an exceptional student-athlete for the Cardinals from 2015-2019. He helped his team win the MEC Conference tournament and appear in the Sweet Sixteen of the Atlantic Regional Championship. Duffy also helped the Cardinals to 88 wins in his four seasons at the school.
