Played in a pair of games during his third season with the team…picked up an assist and a steal in Drexel’s loss to Old Dominion…played three minutes in the game…also saw the court in the regular-season finale against UNCW.
2011-12
Appeared in eight games as a sophomore…saw two minutes of action against Binghamton, St. Francis (Pa.), Towson and in the National Invitation Tournament against Central Florida...an Honorable Mention Colonial Athletic Association All-Academic team selection.
2010-11
Played in six games during his first season in University City….saw action against Penn, Binghamton, Syracuse, Niagara, George Mason and Georgia State…had three rebounds against Niagara…was 0-for-3
Background
A guard from Philadelphia…played four seasons of varsity basketball…attended Council Rock South before transferring to Abington Friends…had a solid senior season…averaged 16.4 points and 5.3 assists in his final year…named an All-Friends League selection as a senior…is one of three children…his sister, Cara, is a Drexel graduate…son of Michael and Pattie Lerner…majoring in business.
