Sean Lawlor has been a member of the Drexel men's soccer coaching staff since 2015 and has served in his current role as the top assistant since the 2017 season. Prior to his time in University City, Lawlor spent time as an assistant both at Syracuse University and Le Moyne College, his alma mater.
During his two seasons at Syracuse, Lawlor was a part of a team that amassed 26 wins. That included a 16-4-1 mark in 2014 which saw the Orange earn a No. 1 national ranking for two weeks during the regular season. Syracuse finished the season earning a No. 9 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, where it advanced to the third round.
Lawlor's coaching career began at Le Moyne College, where he spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons. In 2011, he helped guide Le Moyne to an appearance in the Northeast-10 Championships,
From 2007-10, Lawlor started 70 matches for the Dolphins. As a junior in 2009, he helped them to an 18-3-3 record, the Northeast-10 championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division II Final Four. Lawlor was named an NSCAA All-American that same year.
Lawlor, a native of Blackpool, England, holds a USSF C license.
