2018-19: Senior season…Named to the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll...Placed fourth in the 100 fly against La Salle with a time of 52.58…Earned top-10 finishes in the 200 medley relay (fourth, 1:35.28) and the 200 back (eighth, 1:58.05) at the Thomas Murphy Invitational…Helped the 200 medley relay team to a second-place result against Towson…Finished fourth in the 100 fly (53.17) against Georgetown on senior day.
2017-18: Junior season... at the 2018 Colonial Athletic Association Championships participated in the 100 butterfly, 100 back and 200 butterfly... Drexel men placed second at the 2018 CAA Championships... at the 2017 Thomas Murphy Invitational, placed fourth in the 100 butterfly with a time of 52.23... participated 400 medley relay (3:31.49), 200 free relay (1:29.79), 200 back (1:56.26) and 200 butterfly (1:56.93 and prelim of 1:56.63)... Drexel men placed first at the 2017 Thomas Murphy Invitational with a score of 954.50... at the 2017 Patriot Invitational, participated in the 100 butterfly (50.90), 100 back (51.92), 200 butterfly (1:56.54), 200 back (1:55.60), 400 medley relay (3:24.34)... Drexel men placed first at the 2017 Patriot Invitational with a score of 779… a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll recipient.
2016-17: Sophomore campaign… Notched season bests of 24.81 in the 50 back against NJIT/Howard, 51.35 in the 100 back finals at the CAA Championships, 1:52.15 in the 200 back finals at the CAA Championships, 1:05.38 in the 100 breast against NJIT/Howard, 51.13 in the 100 fly at the Patriot Invitational, 1:52.86 in the 200 fly finals at the CAA Championships and 55.35 in the 100 IM against NJIT/Howard…Drexel men finished 2nd of 5 at the 2017 CAA Championships with a score of 752.
2015-16: Swam in seven different individuals events for Drexel in his freshman campaign…Posted three of his top individuals times at the CAA Championships where he clocked times of 52.09 in the 100 back prelims, 1:53.60 in the 200 back prelims and 51.33 in the 100 fly prelims…Also posted season bests of 51.10 in the 100 free against Loyola and Lafayette, 25.20 in the 50 back against Howard and NJIT, 1:55.80 in the 200 fly at the Patriot Invitational and 4:32.28 in the 400 IM at Binghamton…A CAA Commissioner’s Award winner.
Background: member of Panama’s National Swim Team since 2010…member of the National Champion Swim Team La Salle 200 from 2011-14…won four gold medals at the Central American Swimming Championships in the 100 and 200 backstroke and 100 and 200 butterfly in 2012…won bronze in the 200 butterfly in Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championships in 2013…silver medalist at the Central American and Mexico Swimming Championships in 2014 for the 5 kilometer open water swim…bronze medalist in the 200 backstroke at the Central American Championships in 2014…age group national champion in the 100 and 200 backstroke from 2011-14 and in the 100 and 200 butterfly in 2012 and 2013.
