Began his freshman campaign by placing first in the 200 free and 500 free in competitions against both LaSalle (10/18) and Seaton Hall (11/8)…Placed first in the 200 free (1:35.80) at the WVU Invitational…Took home silver at the CAA championship in the 200 free (1:36.00)…swam a personal best in the 100 free (44.16) at the CAA championships placing 5th, was apart of the CAA champion 400 free relay that took first place...named to the CAA Commissioners Academic Honor Roll.
Background
Eleven-time Lithuanian national champion…represented Lithuania at the 2022 and 2023 European Junior Championships and the 2023 World Junior Championships…finished sixth in the 4x200m freestyle relay at the 2023 European Juniors and ninth in the 4x100m freestyle relay at Worlds…holds the Lithuanian short course meters (SCM) national record in the 4x100m freestyle relay (2024)…also set the U16 national age group record in the 4x200m freestyle relay in 2021.
