2015-16: Named to the CAA Men’s All-Academic Team… Received the team’s Coaches Award at the squad’s season-ending banquet…Swam in six different individual events for Drexel in his senior campaign…Posted three of his top six individuals times at the CAA Championships where he clocked times of 1:41.75 in the 200 free finals, 4:37.18 in the 500 free prelims and 2:11.19 in the 200 breast…Also posted top times of 47.64 in the 100 free at the Patriot Invitational and 56.57 in the 100 IM against Howard and NJIT…A CAA Commissioner’s Award winner.
2014-15: Primarily swam in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle…swam both the 200 and 500 freestyle preliminaries at the CAA Championships…had 18 top-five finishes on the campaign including two victories, two second-place finishes and five third-place marks.
2013-14: Shattered 23-year-old school record in the 800 relay during CAA Championships with a time of 6:38.49...landed third at the Frank Elm Invitational in the 800 free relay, with teammates Pejovic, Lukens, and Chialastri.
2012-13: Recorded second best time ever in the 500 with a 4:42.98 at Frank Elm Invite.
Background: Four-year letter winner and captain at parkland... three time state qualifier 2010-2012... district XI 200 and 500 free champion in 2011... won the scholar athlete award for swimming as a senior... member of the Parkland Area Aquatic Club... broke three club records in the 200 free short course and long course and the 400 free.
Personal: Son of Roger and Susan Klotz.. majoring in finance.
