2016-17: Finished with a 22-13 record playing primarily Nos. 2 and 3 singles and a 17-8 record playing primarily No. 3 doubles with Alex Zenonos…named to the CAA All-Academic team for the second year in a row…earned the CAA Commissioner's Academic Award...helped the Dragons to match the single-season program record for wins with a 13-8 (2-1 CAA) mark…had season-long winning streaks of five in singles and seven twice in doubles…advanced to the second round in the singles qualifying draw at ITA Northeast Regionals…beat Satyajit Smihadri of Boston, 6-4, 5-7, 6-2, in the first round of the singles qualifying draw at ITAs…defeated Harvard’s Samuel Beren, 6-3, 6-4, in a Flight 3 consolation match at the Ivy-Plus Invitational…crowned the Flight 2 singles champion and advanced to the third round of Flight 3 doubles with wins over Marist and Lehigh at the Princeton Invitational and also competed in Flight 3 singles…crowned the Flight 2 doubles champion at the Lehigh Invitational…finished runner-up in Flight 1 singles and advanced to the semifinals in Flight 1 doubles at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational.
2015-16: CAA Commissioner's Academic Award recipient...recorded a 17-11 record in singles, playing primarily at No. 3…went 13-10 in doubles, playing with partners Xabier Saavedra and Hamza Laalej...helped the men’s team to its first 13-win season in program history…named to the CAA All-Academic Team…named CAA Men’s Doubles Performer of the Week three times – twice with Saavedra (Feb. 3 and April 5) and once with Laalej (Feb. 24)…qualified for the ITA Northeast Regionals, and picked up two wins…earned a straight-set 6-1, 7-5 victory at No. 5 to help the Dragons to their first ever victory over James Madison…fought to a three-set, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 win against Saint Joseph’s…cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 win against city rival Villanova… won twice on the Dragons’ trip to Connecticut against Sacred Heart and Fairfield…earned a three-set victory over Morgan State, 7-6 (2), 4-6, 6-3.
At University of Buffalo (2014-15): Transferred to Drexel after spending his freshman season at the University of Buffalo…member of the Buffalo team that won the Mid-Atlantic Conference tournament and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
Background: Attended SAIDS in Chennai, India for two years and played tennis there…reached his highest ITF Juniors ranking of No. 888 in the world…reached the final four in doubles at ITF Juniors in Mumbai.
