2016: Appeared in 16 of the Dragons’ 17 games as a freshman, making 15 starts…played the full 110 minutes in a scoreless draw at St. John’s, including a defensive save that preserved the clean sheet in the second half (8/26)…was named the CAA Rookie of the Week for his defensive effort in that game (8/29)…totaled 1,402 minutes, third-most on the team and the most of any returning player…played full time in all but one of his appearances…put shots up at La Salle (8/30) and at the College of Charleston (11/1).
Background: Played six seasons with the Pateadores club team, helping them to a Far West Regional League Championship in 2013…was a center back for ODP Cal South from 2012-13…led that squad to a Far West Regional Tournament title in 2013…named to the Region IV All-Tournament Team…an AP Scholar with Honors at Marina High School.
Personal: Son of Jane and Bruce Klemm…intends to major in general business.
