Corrine Drost arrived at Drexel in the fall of 2017 and is entering her first season as an Assistant Coach with the Dragons. Drost comes to Drexel after three years on the staff at her alma mater, the University of Delaware. There, she helped mentor the Blue Hens’ offense, which led the team to a combined 22 wins in three years thanks to accumulating 537 points.
In 2015, Drost’s charges were No. 19 in the NCAA Division I rankings for scoring margin at 3.89 goals per game, the largest margin of victory for a Delaware team since 1998. The following year, the Blue Hens ranked No. 18 in the nation with a margin of 3.24 goals per game. Delaware advanced to the CAA Championships in 2015.
Drost starred on the field at Delaware from 2008-11, finishing with 70 goals during her time in Newark including 30 as a senior. She helped Delaware reach the CAA Championships twice during her playing career including a title game appearance in 2009.
Following her playing career, Drost served one season as a volunteer assistant at Delaware in 2012 before joining the coaching staff at Lafayette for two seasons. Her Lafayette teams including the 2013 squad which stands as one of the best in recent program history, advancing to the Patriot League Tournament with a 9-9 overall record.
