Braun joined Drexel’s Institutional Advancement team in September of 2017 after a distinguished coaching career on the lacrosse coaching staff. Some highlights of her coaching tenure include leading a defense that saw a stingy 7.94 goals against average in 2016, CAA championship tournament appearances in 2013 and 2016, and mentoring several players who earned CAA team selections.
In her role as Director of Development, Braun works closely with the 18 varsity sports and its coaches on funding priorities and alumni engagement.
Braun graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 2011 and was the captain of the women’s lacrosse team as senior. She earned her Master of Science degree from Drexel in 2014 in sport management. A native of South Jersey, she currently resides in South Philadelphia with her husband, Adam, and daughter, Emilia.
