Kendra Jones joined Drexel as an assistant coach for the women's soccer team in March of 2025.
Jones was previously an assistant coach at Elizabethtown College. The Blue Jays finished with a 9-5-4 record and reached the Landmark Conference Championship tournament. She also spent one season as an assistant at Niagara. She helped lead the Purple Eagles to a 4-4-2 record and reached the program's seventh straight MAAC tournament.
Prior to joining Niagara, Jones was the head coach at Washington & Jefferson. In four seasons at the helm, she posted a 23-24-13 record, and collected a 15-10-9 record overall in the President's Athletic Conference. The team reached the postseason three times, and appeared in the 2021 semifinal game in the program's first PAC tournament appearance since 2011. Additionally, 15 Presidents received All-PAC honors.
The Hershey, Pa. native played collegiately at Villanova and American as a midfielder/forward. She played 55 games in her career, scoring four goals, an assist and nine points between both programs. After her time at Villanova, she played professionally in Australia, the Czech Republic and in the United States.
She graduated from Villanova in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in marketing.
