2013-14: Third place finish in the 200 relay versus Howard with a time of 1:54.50...took first in the 100 breast and 500 free against Howard…finished eighth in the 800 free relay with teammates Emily Lau, Claudia Dugay and Aubrey Murray at the CAA Championships…finished ninth in the 800 free relay, 12th in the 400 free relay and advanced to the 100 breast second consolation final at the Frank Elm Invitational.
2012-13: Was a driving force throughout the season in relay races...Had strong first place finish in meet against Howard.
2011-12: Recorded a season-high in the 200 IM (2:12.78) at the CAA Championship...clocked in a season-best in the 200 breast (2:37.17) in the win over Howard and in the 100 breast (1:11.72) against Army…clocked in the second fastest time in the 200 free (1:57.69) at the Terrier Invitational…also posted a season-high in the 50 free (25.12) and the 100 free (54.12) at the Terrier Invitational.
Background: Four-year letter winner and two-year team captain…Lansdale Catholic’s first female swimmer to compete in the State Championships all four years in the 100 free and 200 IM…set the high school record for the 50 free in, 100 free, 200 IM, and 100 fly in 2011…also, set Lansdale Catholic’s record in the 200 free relay in 2009 and 200 medley relay in 2008…received the 2011 National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches’ Association Award…2011 Wendy’s High School Scholarship Athletic Citizenship Award winner…four-time All-State Honorable Mention …four-time Intelligencer Newspaper’s Athlete of the Week…three-time First Team Philadelphia Catholic League honoree…three-time MVP Award winner…named Lansdale Catholic’s Most Dedicated Athlete Award winner as a senior, received the Coach’s Award as a freshman… 2007-08 First Team All-District…First Team Pioneer Athletic Conference as a freshman.
Personal: Daughter of Joan and Kenneth Gidzinski…majoring in materials science and engineering.
