Courtney Scott is in his second season as an assistant coach after joining the Drexel Tennis staff in the summer of 2017.
Prior to arriving at Drexel, Scott privately coached players of all levels, including beginners, top-ranked juniors in the world, collegiate players and touring professionals. Before teaching privately, he coached at Legacy Youth Tennis and Education, where he worked with many top-ranked juniors. Scott also competes in USTA events and on the ITF Future’s circuit.
Scott is a 2012 graduate from Delaware with a degree in finance. As a Blue Hen, he was selected All-CAA in 2010-11 as the team’s top singles player and earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award honors. He graduated with the second most doubles wins in team history.
