Eric Ring returns for his fourth season at Drexel after a standout career at Edinboro University. Ring's duties as an assistant coach include recruiting, technique and skill work with the wrestlers, and match preparation. For the past three years he has worked as an instructor at the Bruce Baumgarnter World Class Wrestling Camp.
Ring’s tutelage has helped to guide the ascent of Drexel’s talented 157-pounder Joe Booth. Booth was a CAA Co-Rookie of the Year last season and qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
In his college career at Edinborog, Ring led his team to an eighth-place finish at the Division I NCAA Championships in 2006 while serving as team captain.
Ring graduated Edinboro University with a bachelor's degree in history. In addition to coaching at Drexel, he is pursuing a master's degree in education at Drexel.
