Anthony McCloskey began his career at Drexel iin 2013 and is now an associate director of strength and conditioning.
McCloskey has been a consistent part Drexel athletics success during his time. During his years at Drexel he has worked with EIWA conference champions in wrestling as well as a number NCAA tournament qualifiers. McCloskey worked with Drexel's women's lacrosse team, which advanced to four straight NCAA Championships and has had a number of his swimmers qualify for Olympic trials.
McCloskey is a 2013 graduate of West Chester University where he played football and was a captain in his senior year. During his senior season, the Golden Rams made it to the Division II NCAA Semi-finals and finished the year 13-2, the best record in West Chester football history to date. McCloskey has also been a powerlifter since he was 10 years old. He holds state, national, and world records and in 2004 was the AAU Athlete of the Year. McCloskey’s best lifts to date are a 910 pound squat, a 600 pound bench and a 725 pound deadlift, for a total of 2055 pounds.
McCloskey resides in Aston PA with his wife Amanda, and his three children, Ava, Austin, and Aurora
