Ethan Grugan was hired as the Associate Director of Athletic Communications in October 2025. In his current role, he serves as the primary media contact for men’s basketball, men’s soccer, tennis and squash.

Before joining Drexel, Grugan worked with the Ed Snider Youth Hockey and Education Foundation, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia 76ers and Jefferson University’s Athletics Department.

Grugan earned a bachelor’s degree in film with a minor in classical studies from Saint Joseph’s in 2020 and a master’s degree in strategic communications from Penn State in 2024.
