James Biernat joined Drexel in August of 2025. He serves as the Assistant Partnership Services Coordinator for Dragon Sports Properties.

Biernat comes to Drexel following a stint with Citizens as an Enterprise Sponsorship Intern. In this role, he was responsible for the day-to-day management and activation of Citizens Bank’s partnership with the Philadelphia Phillies. He managed all aspects of Citizens Bank's Bankers Ambassador program while acting as an on-site liaison between the Phillies and Citizens Bank for sponsorship purposes.

As a student at Drexel, Biernat was the Social Media Manager and Vice President for the Drexel Sports Business Department, where he created, edited, and managed all static and video aspects for the account. He was also the Director of Marketing for Clubhouse 805, where he managed content and created videos with former MLB stars for recruitment purposes.

The New York native also co-hosts a podcast with former MLB star Mike Lieberthal and performs play-by-play for various sports at the high school, college, and semi-professional level.

Biernat is currently seeking his degree from Drexel in International Business/Business Analytics.
