Leah Nissle joined the Drexel Sports Medicine office in 2016. She was promoted to her current position in the summer of 2023. Nissle works directly with the women's soccer and the men's and women's rowing programs. She previously served as the athletic trainer for the field hockey and softball teams.

Nissle arrived at Drexel after working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Morehead State University. At Morehead State, she worked with the women's soccer, softball, and all-girl and coed competitive cheerleading teams, winning a national championship with the all-girl cheerleading team in 2015.

Prior to her time at Morehead State, Nissle worked for ATI Physical Therapy as an outreach athletic trainer.

Nissle graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. She graduated from Morehead State University in 2016 with a master's degree in Sport Management.
