Richie Scott joined Drexel University in January of 2024. He is currently the assistant director for communications and digital media. Scott serves as the primary contact for women's lacrosse, men’s and women’s rowing, wrestling, and women's soccer.

Before coming to Drexel, Scott previously worked for the Reading Fightin Phils, the Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. He served as a full-time public relations, graphic design and tickets intern. Scott’s duties included writing press releases and articles, organizing events, social media management, creating graphics for print and digital, sales, and more. He also worked with the Reading Royals as a social media and promotions assistant for two seasons.

A native of Pottsville, Pa., Scott graduated from Elizabethtown College in May of 2021 with a bachelor's degree in communications (concentration in public relations) and a minor in graphic design. At Elizabethtown, Scott worked with the Office of Student Activities as a social media manager and marketing lead. Scott also interned with Emerald Foundation Esports during his time in school.
