Tate Hawver joined the Drexel athletic department in October of 2022 as the assistant director of content and game presentation. His duties include producing content and graphics for video boards and live broadcasts of various Drexel athletic teams. He also produces live Drexel events for basketball, wrestling, lacrosse and soccer games.

Prior to Drexel, he was a full-time freelancer in Central Florida. He ran camera for the University of Florida, University of Central Florida, and various other sporting events. Additionally, he freelanced as an assistant cameraman for Music Club Kids, Cirque du Soleil, and SeaWorld.

While in the Sunshine State, Hawver was a professional intern for Walt Disney World in the public affairs department. In his role, he produced internal videos and social media content.

He is also a gameday crew camera operator with the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.

Hawver earned his bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida in 2019. During his time as a Gator, he worked as a camera operator covering collegiate sports, news broadcasts, and live events.
