Zachary Apt was hired as Drexel’s Intramural Coordinator in October 2021. He transitioned to his current position of Manager of Club Sports in October 2023, where he oversees the finance and operations of Drexel’s 36 Club Sports teams.
Before arriving at Drexel, he spent a year at the University of Pennsylvania, primarily working in a part-time role as an athletic operations supervisor.
Apt graduated from Rutgers University in 2017 with a degree in psychology and criminal justice. During this time, Apt worked as an Intramural Official and Supervisor for Flag Football, Basketball, Softball and Volleyball. Apt continued his education at Winthrop University, earning his master’s degree in 2019 in sport and fitness administration while serving as a graduate assistant for Winthrop’s gym facility and recreational sports program. In 2018, he interned as an assistant football coach for the Chester Cyclones, helping lead them to their first state championship since 1963.
