Kelsi Lidge

Kelsi Lidge was promoted to a full-time position on the coaching staff for the 2021-22 season as the Coordinator for Strategic and Player Development Services.
Lidge spent the previous two seasons with the Dragons as a graduate assistant coach. She helped guide Drexel to its second ever Colonial Athletic Association Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance last season. In 2019-20, the Dragons went 23-7 and won a share of the 2020 CAA regular season crown. In her two years on the coaching staff, Drexel has a record of 37-16.
The Aurora, Colorado native finished her playing career with the Dragons in 2018, a season which saw her lead the team to its second-ever CAA regular season championship. The Dragons won a program-record 24 regular season games that season and advanced to the CAA title game. Lidge became the first Dragon ever to earn CAA All-Defensive Team recognition, going along with a Second Team All-CAA nod. She also earned the Iron Dragon Award, playing 1,111 minutes as a senior, the most on the team and fourth highest total in the CAA. Overall, Drexel posted an 88-44 mark, good for a .667 winning percentage, in her playing career.
She was also tabbed as the Dean Ehlers Leadership Award recipient and the Drexel Athletics Department's Mary Semanik Award winner, which goes to the top senior student-athlete in the department.
Lidge has been active in civic engagement efforts including being an organizer and one of the founding members of the Black Student Athletes Union in 2020, advocating black student athletes to come together and talk about issues of concern and how to create change. As a senior, she won the Team Leadership Award and was named the program's MVP.
