Day One at NCAA Championships Completed

Auburn Hills, Mich.- Day one at the NCAA Championships concluded as four Drexel wrestlers competed in the national championships. Steve Mytych won his opening round match before dropping his second round match and falling to the consolation bracket at 125 pounds. Ryan Hluschak won his first two matches until dropping a spirited match to top seed Trent Paulson of Iowa State, 12-7. Nick Kozar lost his first two matches and has been eliminated from the championships. Chris Cowen won his first round match but lost his next two and is now eliminated from competition.
Mytych and Hluschak will continue in the consolation bracket on Friday, March 16.
