Unkaya and Mafa Represent Dragons at ITA Northeast Regional Tournament This Weekend

Philadelphia - Senior Gozde Unkaya and freshman Zeynep Mafa will travel to participate in the ITA Northeast Regional Tournament hosted by Dartmouth College this weekend. Unkaya will be the Dragons' representative in the singles main draw, while Mafa will have a chance to qualify for the singles tournament. The duo will also participate in the main draw doubles tournament.
Mafa's quest to qualify for main draw singles begins on Friday, Oct. 22 when she plays Daniela DePaoli from Penn at noon. If she wins she will face the winner of at 12:15 match between USMA's Jamila Paul and Quinnipiac's Rachel Cantor, the number two seed in the qualifying bracket.
Main draw singles and doubles will begin in Saturday, Oct. 23.
