Drexel Men's Varsity Eight to Compete at Head of Charles

Boston, Mass. - Drexel Director of Rowing Paul Savell will be taking the Dragons' men's varsity eight to one of the most prestigious collegiate races of the fall season as the boat will compete in the Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday, Oct. 24. The varsity eight boat will be competing in the men's collegiate eights event, scheduled to begin at 1:57 p.m.
The Drexel men's varsity eight boat will be coxed by Steve Matyas and will also feature stroke Kurt Linton, Lorenzo Albala, Aleksander Radovic, Kyle Fabel, Brian Timlin, William Masters, Anthony Fittipaldi and bow Jacob Sloan. The boat will be competing against some of the collegiate powerhouses in rowing in front of thousands of fans along the historic Charles River.
