Women's Tennis Drops Spring Opener at Penn

Philadelphia - Playing its first match of 2011 at nearby Levy Tennis Pavilion on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel women's tennis fell to its crosstown rival 7-0. Emma Brook gave Stephanie Do a tough three-setter at third singles before falling 10-8 in the deciding third set. Rookie Zeynep Mafa continued to build on her strong performance this fall with a quality match at fourth singles against Daniela DePaoli. The loss was Drexel's first of the 2010-11 season after opening 2-0 in dual matches this fall.
