Midnight Madness Event 2011 With Chiddy Bang at the DAC on Nov. 5

Philadelphia - The DAC Pack, Student Life and Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee (SAFAC) are proud to present "Midnight Madness Event 2011!" to be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011. This annual event gives students and fans of Drexel the chance to celebrate the start of the new basketball season.
In addition to meeting the team, the evening's main attraction will be a full concert featuring Chiddy Bang, an alternative hip hop band, with an opening DJ set by The Jane Doze. The group consists of Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege and Noah "Xaphoon Jones" Beresin. The duo met during their freshman year at Drexel. Their sound is based on the fusion of hip hop and alternative.
The doors open at 8:00 p.m. with the event beginning at 9:00 p.m. The first 500 people in attendance will receive a commemorative Midnight Madness t-shirt. Monster energy drink and Pop Chips will also be handing out free product.
The student-run Drexel SAFAC is supporting the implementation of three campus wide concerts this year with the creation of The Dragon Concert Series Committee. The committee will continue the existing concert traditions of Homecoming and Spring Jam, as well as, the new DAC Pack's Midnight Madness event.
