Dragons Finish Fourth at Lonnie Barton Invitational

Final Results
Savannah, Ga. – The Drexel men's golf team finished the final round at the Lonnie Barton tournament with a team score of 625 at Savannah Quarters Country Club in Savannah, Ga. The Dragons opened their 2011 spring season with a fourth place finish out of nine teams.
Michael Serensits led the way for Drexel with a score of 73 in the first round and sat just two strokes off the individual lead. Sophomore James Braunsberg penciled in at 76, while teammates Andrew Lawson finished with 77 and Ben Feld with a score of 79. Newcomer Billy Reube also completed his first collegiate round for the Dragons.
James Braunsberg led the Dragons with an individual score of 154. Braunsberg tied with Wagner's Steve Nakajima for 13th place out of 56 golfers at the Lonnie Barton tournament. Sophomore Ben Feld was tied for 24th place at the start of the invitational and edged his way to 15th. Feld shared a final score of 155 with Mount St. Mary's Dan Michalek.
The Dragons will return to action on Saturday, March 26 through March 27 at the Fireline Towson Invitational in Grasonville, Md.
