Women's Crew Set to Compete in the 2011 CAA Championship

Philadelphia – The Drexel women's crew team will compete in the 2011 CAA Championship held at Occoquan, Virginia on Sunday, April 24. The championship will feature a women's varsity four, a women's second varsity eight and women's varsity eight race.
The women's varsity four will kick off action at 9:30 a.m. The Sandi Sheller boat with coxswain Kerry Walsh, stroke, Amanda O'Malley, Colleen Delaney, Sarah Mackenzie, and bow Elizabeth Daugherty will be set in lane one.
At 9:45 a.m., the women's second varsity eight will take the water in lane five. The Marlene Buckley boat will feature coxswain Alex Paulin, stroke Taylor Mondak, Asiya Mahmud, Colleen Owens, Megan Bush, Juliana DeMarici, Samantha Cowan, Mollie Cusack, and bow Brooke Wertan.
The CAA Championship will conclude with the women's varsity eight race at 10:05 a.m. Cate Khella will cox the Unnamed Empacher in lane five along with stroke Elizabeth Bratton, Alexa Antonioli, Julia Jackson, Mallory Sykes, Kayla Wroblesky, Emily Coyle, Casondra Clawson, and bow Dana Haneman.
