The University of Virginia scored three times in the first half on its way to a 4-0x victory against Drexel on Sunday afternoon in Charlottesville. The Dragons fell to 2-2-1 with the loss, while the fourth-ranked Cavaliers improved to 6-0.

The Cavaliers got on the board early when Shasta Fischer scored in the game's 10th minute on a header set up by Julia Roberts. Less than 10 minutes later, Virginia struck again. Lauren Alwine scored an unassisted goal at the 18 minute mark. Virginia closed the first-half scoring when Erica Hollenberg set up Caroline Miller, who beat Victoria Trocolli for her sixth goal of the year.

Virginia added a fourth goal in the early going of the second half when Danielle Colaprico put a shot past Drexel keeper Eve Badana. Badana had two saves in the game. Trocolli picked up one save in the first half. The Cavaliers' potent offense outshot Drexel, 21-0, in the game

The Dragons are off until Friday night, when they host Saint Joseph's at 7 p.m. at Vidas Field.
