Women’s Soccer Falls to William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The Drexel women's soccer team fell to William & Mary, 4-0, in Williamsburg, Va. Sunday afternoon. The Dragons fall to 1-2-0 in the conference and 5-5-1 overall.
Three of the Tribe's goals came in the first half. Ava Magnuson took a feed from Mia Abbey, burying a shot into the left corner of the net in the 21st minute.
In the 29th minute, Abbey scored one of her own. Ella Ledwith found open space and fed the ball to Abbey, who placed her shot past the Drexel defense for the goal.
William & Mary made it 3-0 in the 36th minute. Sophia Dallara fired a shot from inside the box and found the top-left corner of the net.
The Tribe finished the scoring in the 73rd minute. Brooke Oswald sent a cross into the box as Kerys Palmer dove to head the ball into the goal.
The Dragons conclude the three-game road trip on Sunday, October 4 against Monmouth. Action is set for 1 p.m.
