Wrestling Places Four in East Stroudsburg Open

Final Results
East Stroudsburg, Pa. – The Drexel Wrestling squad had a solid performance at the East Stroudsburg Open with four Dragons placing in the top four, including Frank Cimato's first place win at 141 pounds. Brandon Palik finished second in the 197 weight class while teammates Kevin Devoy Jr. and Jacob Goodwin had a strong presence in competition at 125 pounds, finishing second and fourth respectively.
While the tournament only ranked up to fourth place, other Dragons had strong showings. Noel Blanco finished in the top six at 157, as did both Jamie Callender and Jon Max Wright, who competed at 285. Freshman Matthew Cimato finished in the top eight, along with Jason Fugiel and Austin Sommer who both competed at 157, and Bryan Sternlieb who wrestled in the 184 weight class.
The Dragons will return to action next weekend as they are set to compete in the Northeast Duals in Albany, N.Y. on Saturday.
