Lock Haven, Pa. – The Drexel wrestling squad posted many strong performances during competition at the BRUTE Invitational on Saturday, including two fourth place finishes from Frank Cimato and Connor Moran in the 141 and 165 divisions respectively. Both went 4-1 on the day, securing a technical fall apiece, and both ended their days with medical forfeits which kept them from being able to earn a higher place finish.

While Cimato and Moran were the only Dragons to place, their teammates were also very competitve at the invitational. Freshman Clayton Lutzow pinned George Mason's Zachary Isenhour at 2:47 and went 2-2 on the day in the 133 weight class. Bryan Sternlieb also earned a win-by-fall at 184 over Mason's Derek Dwyer at the 5:32 mark. This puts him at six total pins on the season, a team best, with Brandon Palik and Austin Sommer following close behind with five pins each.

The Dragons will return to action on Friday, January 4 as they take on Northern Colorado in Fairfax, Virginia. Competition will begin at 5:30 p.m.
