Feld Leads Drexel in Spring Opener at UNCW Seahawk Invitational

Wilmington, N.C. – The Drexel men's golf team finished 12th overall with a combined score of 982 after three rounds and 54 holes of competition. Benjamin Feld had a strong finish for Drexel in the third round of play on Monday. The Blue Bell, Pa. native shot 83, 81, and 76 for a total score of 240. He tied for 54th place out of 66 golfers. East Carolina took first with a team score of 215.
On Sunday, Vincent Anagnos led the team with a total score of 155 after the first day of competition. The men's team was paired with Liberty University, which is ranked 31st in country, during the first two rounds. The following day, Anagnos finished just one point behind team leader, Feld, with a round score of 241 and tied for 57th overall. James Parsons penciled in 250 for 64th place, followed by Ben Hinge and Michael Serensits respectively.
The Dragons will return to action on Friday, March 30 through March 31 at the Fireline Towson Invitational held in Gransonville, Md.
