Men's Golf Wraps Up Regular-Season at UNCW

Philadelphia – The Drexel's men golf team competed against the Colonial Athletic Association's top-ranked UNCW Seahawks in the final regular-season match on Wednesday, April 25 at the Biderman Golf Club. Co-captains Benjamin Feld and Michael Serensits compiled 14 birdies on the day. Wednesday's match marked Serensits last regular-season contest.

Feld and Serensits took on UNCW's Thomas Bass and Stefan Brewer. Feld came out firing and posted a birdie in the opening two holes to give the Dragons an early lead. The four-ball play went back and fourth until Drexel was down by one heading into the 17^th hole. Feld chipped in from off the green as the Seahawks missed their birdie attempt. On the 18^th hole, UNCW tallied a par putt causing a draw. Drexel's James Parsons had a solid performance, but was outlasted by UNCW's Corey Nagy. Despite the close scrore, the Seahawks penciled in ahead of James Braunsberg and Vincent Anagnos.

The Dragons finished the match with great experience and will return to action on Friday, April 27 through Sunday, April 29 at the 2012 CAA Championships held in Wilmington, Delaware.
