RESULTS
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Drexel men's squash team was defeated at No. 2 Harvard on Friday night, coming up short of winning any individual matches as the Dragons fell, 9-0. The loss was the second-straight against an Ivy League foe for Drexel, which found itself unable to win any individual sets.
Despite the loss, there were several impressive individual performances. The Crimson were unable to shutout Drexel in any individual set. Playing at No. 3, Michael Thompson took his opponent to the brink three times before falling in straight sets, 11-8, 11-8, 11-9. Both Justin Singh at No. 2 and Ben Bevan at No. 8 also got nine points in one set during their individual losses. Singh fell 11-5, 11-7, 11-1, and Bevan was defeated 11-7, 11-2, 11-9.
The Dragons will get back to work on Saturday against a third-straight Ivy League opponent, as they visit Brown for a 10:00 a.m. tilt. The Brown men are ranked No. 15, just one spot ahead of the Dragons.
