Men's Tennis Brings Home Win Against Temple 4-3

PHILDAELPHIA - The men's tennis team defeated Temple in a close 4-3 match. This is the Dragons first win over the Owls' since March 2, 2008. This improves their record to 4-1 on the season.

Not even strong performances by Skyler Davis and Badr Ouabdelmoumen could break the Owl's play, as Temple won two of three matches.

The Dragons came back in singles with determination as they topped Temple in four of six matches. Ouabdelmoumen took his opponent in a tough, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, decision while teammate Davis won his match in straight sets, 7-5, 6-1. Dan Koehler picked up another Drexel win as he went, 6-4, 6-2. Alex Fioravante collected yet another win for the Dragons going, 6-4, 6-4.

The men return to the court Saturday, February 16 as they take on St. Francis (Pa) at home. The match is set the begin at 11:00 a.m.
