Women's Tennis Falls to George Washington, 6-1

PHILADELPHIA - The women's tennis team fell to George Washington in a 6-1 decision at home on Saturday.

In doubles play, Zeynep Mafa and Marcela Rosales picked up the only win for the Dragons in an 8-5 decision against GW's Mimi Hamling and Leah Pascarella.

Drexel was defeated in five out of six singles matches, which came down to very close decisions. Rosales brought home the only win for the team, going 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 against Stephanie Wei.

The women return to the court on Saturday, March 9 when they head to Maryland for a match against Towson.
