LAS VEGAS - Former Drexel wrestling standout Zach Makovsky will be featured on UFC 170 this weekend when he fights Josh Sampo on Saturday night on Fox Sports 1. Makovsky, who made strong impressions in his UFC debut in December, could propel himself into the 125-pound title picture with another victory on Saturday.
The fight will air on Fox Sports 1 on Saturday night at some point between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Makovsky was a late injury replacement at UFC on FOX 9 in December, but made an impression with his unanimous victory over Scott Jorgensen. He comes into Saturday's fight on a three-match winning streak, and has a career record of 17-4 overall.
