No. 9 Men’s Squash Tops No. 22 Bowdoin

LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 9 Drexel men's squash team (4-0) earned an 8-1 victory on Sunday over the No. 22 Bowdoin Polar Bears (0-2) in Lancaster, Pa. in a neutral site matchup on the campus of Franklin & Marshall.
Freshman Omar El Atmas cruised to a No. 1 position victory over Bowdoin's Matt Cooper while fellow freshman Bransten Ming defeated Christian Dorff of the Polar Bears, 11-2, 11-2, 11-4, in the No. 2 spot.
Sophomore Atticus Kelly played in the No. 3 spot and won 13-11, 11-6, 11-7. Kelly played in the No. 2 spot in the 9-0 sweep over Haverford this past Friday and from the No. 5 on Oct. 31.
The middle of the ladder was anchored with wins by senior Ibrahim Bakir, junior Michael Thompson and sophomore Luke Willemse.
Sophomore Noel Solomon made his third appearances on the year and earned an 11-7, 11-4, 11-9 win over Bowdoin's Sebastian Gilligan-Kim on Sunday.
Freshman Royston Raymond played from the No. 8 spot and defeated Satya Butler in four games, 11-9, 9-11, 11-9, 14-12.
The Drexel men will now turn their attention to No. 7 Penn when the Dragons "travel" to take on the Quakers on Tuesday, Nov. 24. Action begins at 7 p.m. The Drexel women will play No. 3 Penn right before at 5 p.m.
