PHILADELPHIA - Women's Soccer's Eve Badana has been selected to participate in the World University Games this summer. The Games, which are also referred to as Universiade, will take place in Gwangju, South Korea from July 3-14. This marks the second time that she has been selected to represent Ireland at the Games, which takes place every two years.
"I am incredibly excited and honoured to represent Ireland and Drexel at such a prestigious event. If my experience in the 2013 Games serves as any indication as to how the next few weeks will be, it will be a unique and memorable journey," Badana said about her upcoming trip. "I am very much looking forward to competing and training with some of the best young players in the world, as it will serve as great preparation for the upcoming season."
