Crew Completes Racing Sunday at Princeton Chase

RESULTS
PRINCETON, N.J. – Drexel Crew closed out its weekend of racing Sunday on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J. at the Princeton Three-Mile Chase.
The men's varsity eight took home the Dragons' best finish of the morning, crossing the finish line 17th out of 44 boats. The women's varsity eight finished 25th overall out of 59 boats.
The Dragons' top men's boat, racing in the Sandra Lee Sheller II boat, finished 17th overall in a crowded bunch with a time of 13:29.757, five one-thousandths of a second behind Navy B. All finishing within a second of each other, in order, was MIT A, Georgetown A, Navy B and Drexel A. Princeton's top boat took first with a 12:37.211.
Drexel's top women's boat, racing in the Cara Fry boat, finished 25th overall with a time of 15:38.642, holding off Rhode Island's top boat by less than a tenth of the second. Brown took the top spot in the women's race, winning comfortably with a 14:14.672.
It was a busy weekend for the Dragons. On Saturday, the crew earned top-five finishes in all five races in which it was entered. Click here for more.
Next up, the Dragons' women will race in the Collegiate Small Boat Challenge on Mercer Lake on Nov. 5-6, while the eights head to Rutgers on Nov. 6.
