Coxswain Hayley Roth, Vesper 8 Finish Third at Royal Canadian Henley Regatta

ST. CATHERINES, Ontario, Canada – Rising Drexel Crew junior Hayley Roth coxed the Vesper Boat Club senior women's eight took third place Thursday night at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta at Port Dalhousie in St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada.
Roth and the senior women's eight took third with a time of 6:55.56, edging fourth-place Riverside by less than three seconds. Calgary came away with the victory, crossing the finish line 6:39.80, with UWO following in second just over eight seconds later.
Ahead of the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, Roth and the Vesper women's eight won the gold medal at Club Nationals at Harsha Lake in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 17 with a time of 6:48.455. Roth's teammate, Kayley Slicer, was a silver medalist in the intermediate eight at Club Nationals, but she did not compete in Canada.
